India's Gold Prices Inch Up Amid Festive Season Demand
Gold prices in India rose marginally on September 9 across various cities. In contrast, silver rates remained unchanged on the same day. The price of gold decreased slightly to ₹1,55,360 per 10 grams, while silver prices stayed at ₹2,49,900 per kilogram.
The Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) saw a slight increase in gold futures by 0.02% to ₹1,52,605 per 10 grams. Silver futures remained constant at around ₹2,39,425 per kilogram.
Gold prices are influenced by several factors, including international rates, the exchange rate of the US Dollar, and domestic jewelry demand, particularly ahead of the festive season.
