Gold and silver prices in India remained relatively stable on August 20 due to weakness in international bullion markets. Gold prices hit ₹1,54,960 per 10 grams, while silver rates neared ₹2,44,900 per kg.

The Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) saw gold futures rise by 0.33% to ₹1.58 lakh per 10 grams and silver futures increase by around 1.51% to ₹2.40 lakh per kilogram at the time of writing this story.

Market participants are keeping a close eye on global economic data, US interest rate expectations, and currency movements for further direction in precious metal prices.
