Indonesia Gold Price Surges as ANTAM Updates Prices to Rp2,613,000
The gold price in Indonesia continues to fluctuate, with ANTAM's latest update showing an increase of Rp23,000 per gram. As of September 27, 2026, the price for 1-gram ANTAM gold stands at Rp2,613,000, up from Rp2,590,000 on Saturday. This increase is also reflected in the buyback price, which has risen by Rp23,000 to Rp2,438,000 per gram.
The difference between the selling and buyback prices remains significant, with a gap of approximately Rp175,000 per gram. This disparity is due to various factors, including domestic market demand, production and refining costs, and pricing policies from producers. As such, gold prices in Indonesia may not move exactly in line with international prices.
According to Han Tan, Chief Market Analyst at Bybit, the rise in US government bond yields is a major pressure on precious metals like gold. With interest rates remaining high, some investors may switch to assets that offer fixed income, pushing gold prices lower. However, gold remains a focus as a hedging asset during times of economic and geopolitical uncertainty.
