Inpasa Exploits Paraguayan Tax Loophole for Biodiesel and Sugarcane Ethanol

Inpasa, Brazil's corn-ethanol market leader, has found success in Paraguay by producing biodiesel and sugarcane ethanol.

The company entered Paraguay in 2006 and expanded into Brazil in 2017. Today, Inpasa operates six plants in Brazil and two in Paraguay, with two additional Brazilian facilities under construction.

Inpasa produces 1.3 million liters of corn ethanol per day in Paraguay and 16 million liters in Brazil. Once the new facilities are completed, its annual Brazilian capacity is expected to exceed 8 billion liters, up from 6.7 billion liters.
