Iowa Gas Prices Drop 10 Cents Amid Global Crude Oil Price Dip

The Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship has released its Weekly Fuel Report, revealing that regular unleaded gasoline prices have fallen by 10 cents across the state. The current average price is $4.03 per gallon, according to AAA.

Crude oil prices also saw a decline, with West Texas Intermediate (WTI) falling by $3.54 per barrel and Brent crude dropping by $3.69 per barrel. These drops bring WTI's price to $81.77 and Brent's to $87.74, respectively.

In comparison to last year, the prices of both WTI and Brent crude have increased significantly. One year ago, WTI sold for $65.18 and Brent was priced at $66.89.
