Iowa Gas Prices Hold Above $4 Amid Slight Dip

Iowa's gas prices took a slight dip in this week's report from the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship (IDALS) and AAA-Iowa. As of August 26, the average price for regular unleaded gasoline dropped by 10 cents to $4.03 per gallon, still $1.15 higher than the same time last year.

The national average also saw a slight increase, reaching $4.10 per gallon on Wednesday. In contrast, Iowa's diesel prices rose by 16 cents to an average of $5.41 per gallon, with the national average standing at $5.62 per gallon.

Natural gas prices at the Henry Hub reporting site also saw a boost, increasing by six cents to $2.91 per MMBtu.
