Iran Accused of Fueling Saudi Conflict as Oil Prices Soar

The conflict in the Middle East escalated further on Tuesday, pushing oil prices to nearly $100 per barrel. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia confirmed that Houthi strikes targeting energy infrastructure resulted in 73 civilian injuries.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned against the consequences of these attacks and stressed the need for an immediate halt to all forms of escalation carried out by the militia.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio said the Trump administration was tracking developments 'very closely.' He stated that 'some of this is clearly the Iranian hand' behind the Houthi strikes, implying Iran's involvement in the conflict.
