Iran, Armenia Agree on Joint Energy Working Group

The Iranian and Armenian governments have agreed to establish a joint energy working group following a meeting between the two countries' oil ministers.

Iran's Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad praised Armenia for its support during difficult times, reiterating Tehran's commitment to strengthening cooperation with Yerevan within its technical and economic capabilities.

The two sides discussed potential energy projects, including expanding bilateral trade, exporting technical services, constructing refineries, and supplying petroleum products to Armenia.

Paknejad announced that the working group will be set up to evaluate concrete outcomes during their next meeting.
