Iran Continues Oil Production Despite Aggression by US and Israel
The National Iranian Oil Company has maintained oil production levels despite the ongoing aggression by the US and Israel, according to CEO Hamid Bord. In an interview, he stated that the oil sector has always fulfilled its strategic role in the national economy at times of crisis.
Bord described the current situation as an asymmetric war, with the enemy targeting oil facilities through bombardment, sanctions, and naval blockades. However, he noted that Iranian oil production continues thanks to the 'prudence and wisdom' of the National Iranian Oil Company.
Noting that neighboring countries have halted oil production due to similar circumstances, Bord emphasized that the company is managing fluctuations in production levels through meticulous planning based on data and conditions on the ground.
