Iran Denies US Claims of Supporting Oil Transport Through Strait of Hormuz
Tehran has denied US claims that its forces have supported the transport of over 1 billion barrels of oil through the Strait of Hormuz in recent months.
According to a statement from Abolfazl Shekarchi, senior spokesman for Iran's armed forces, this claim made by CENTCOM Commander Admiral Brad Cooper is 'false and ridiculous'.
Shekarchi added that Cooper's remarks are a 'projection and a failed psychological operation to boost the morale of the terrorist US Army's exhausted and worn-out forces in the region.'
The initiative in the Strait of Hormuz remains in Iran's hands, Shekarchi stressed.
