Iran Exceeds Oil Revenue Projections Amid War and Ceasefire
Iran's oil ministry has reported that it sold $18 billion worth of oil during the recent war and ceasefire with the United States. The sales figure exceeds 60% of the oil revenues forecast in the country's budget for the year.
The oil ministry stated that it sold $11.5 billion worth of oil during the war and an additional $6.5 billion during the ensuing ceasefire, which collapsed earlier this month.
This news comes after Iran's parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf had earlier said that the country was unable to export any oil during the US blockade on its ports.
