Iran Reopens Strait of Hormuz Proposal with Supreme Leader's Backing
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian announced that Tehran's plan to reopen the strategic Strait of Hormuz has been coordinated with Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei.
The strait is crucial for the world's oil supply and central to the conflict between Iran and the US, which remains deadlocked after nearly seven months.
Pezeshkian stated that a six-member team in Iran has been meeting for discussions and has 'the authority to make decisions', including representatives from various organizations and bodies, including the military, parliament, and government.
