Iran Restores Half of Damaged South Pars Capacity Ahead of Winter
Iran's Deputy Oil Minister for Planning has announced significant progress in restoring South Pars' damaged capacity. By September 22nd, approximately 50% of the affected capacity is expected to be back online, with production already resuming. The restoration work aims to be completed before winter, as per plans.
The news follows a statement by TotalEnergies (TTE FP), which has commenced the Ima gas project. This development comes amidst diplomatic efforts between Iran and other nations, but there is no scheduled meeting between Iranian President Pezeshkian and US President Trump on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.
