Iran Restores Half of South Pars LNG Capacity After Israeli Strike

Iran's South Pars liquefied natural gas (LNG) facility has made significant progress in recovering from an Israeli air strike in March. According to Iranian Deputy Oil Minister Ahmad Zeraatkar, around 50% of the production capacity at the heavily damaged site has been restored.

The strategic facility is expected to return to full operation in the coming weeks, with Zeraatkar stating that all remaining planned measures will be completed before winter sets in. This progress marks a significant milestone for Iran's oil industry, which has faced various challenges in recent months.

In late August, Zeraatkar reported that approximately 40% of the damaged facility's capacity had been restored. The current restoration rate suggests that the site is on track to meet its planned schedule.
