Iranian Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad announced that his country is employing various strategies to circumvent the US blockade, which was reinstated by President Trump in mid-July after negotiations for a new deal collapsed.

The oil industry remains active and is pursuing multiple measures to eventually bypass the blockade entirely, according to Iranian media.

During a brief three-week period in mid-June to mid-July when the blockade was lifted, Iran managed to export significant volumes of oil from the Persian Gulf.

However, vessel-tracking data indicates that Iranian oil exports in August fell sharply compared to the previous year, following the reimposition of sanctions.
