The Iran's oil minister has announced that the country sold $18 billion worth of oil during the war with the United States and subsequent ceasefire period. This revenue exceeds 60% of the projected oil sales for the current fiscal year, with $11.5 billion earned during the conflict and $6.5 billion earned during the ceasefire.

The Iran-US conflict began on February 28 after a series of attacks by the US and Israel triggered the war. A ceasefire was reached in April, bringing an end to most fighting.
