Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) launched missiles at two US military bases in Jordan, following a US attack on Larak Island in southern Iran. The operation, dubbed 'Punishment of the Aggressor', targeted the King Hussein and Al Azraq bases, destroying technical and repair infrastructure, as well as enemy fighter deployment sites.

The IRGC claimed significant damage was inflicted, but no injuries were reported at either base. Jordanian air defence systems intercepted eight missiles that breached the Kingdom's airspace, according to a statement from the Jordanian military.

US President Donald Trump posted an AI-generated video on his Truth Social platform, seemingly depicting the bombing of Iran's Kharg Island. However, there was no evidence that the Iranian energy hub was under attack, and oil prices remain high amid supply uncertainty.
