Iran Surpasses Egypt as Top Buyer of Russian Grain

Russia has shipped an impressive 913,700 tons of grain to Iran since July 1, making it the top destination for Russian grain exports during this period. The figures are from ProZerno company and cover the opening months of Russia's current agricultural year.

Egypt ranked second as a buyer of Russian grain, receiving 846,800 tons between July 1 and September 8, 2026. Other major buyers included Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, and Sudan, according to ProZerno.
