Iran Threatens Oil Export Halt Amid US Economic War

Iran's Supreme National Security Council leader Mohsen Rezaei has threatened to halt oil exports through the Strait of Hormuz if the US continues its economic war. He warned that any further action would lead to a global response, stating 'We will retaliate in an earthquake-like manner.'

In contrast, Qatar and Kuwait have managed to increase their crude oil exports from the Strait of Hormuz to 70% of pre-war levels by using ship-to-ship transfers in the Gulf of Oman.

A fire at the Amur Gas Chemical Complex in Russia's far eastern Amur region has killed seven people, including six Chinese nationals. The plant said nine others are missing.
