Iran Threatens 'Proportional Response' to US Aggression
Iran's government has issued a stern warning to the US, threatening decisive action if Washington makes any 'reckless moves'. The warning comes after US President Donald Trump stated his readiness to use force against Iran. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi emphasized that Iran is prepared to respond harshly to any aggression and highlighted the risks of further escalation in the region.
Araghchi made these statements during phone conversations with high-ranking officials from Turkey, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia. He warned that any strikes by the US, Israel, or other regional states would receive a 'proportional response' from Iran.
The Iranian authorities also emphasized that in the event of US attacks on their energy infrastructure, they would strike oil fields in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, as well as gas facilities in Qatar and Israel. A significant emphasis was placed on the formulation: 'Everything will burn to the ground.'
