Iran Vows Retaliation Against US Over Oil Tanker Blockade

A top Iranian commander has issued a stern warning to the US, stating that any attack on Iranian oil tankers will result in strikes on US bases across the region.

Major General Ali Abdollahi, head of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, made this declaration in response to what Iran describes as an ongoing US naval blockade and aerial aggression against the country.

The US has issued evacuation warnings to Iranian oil tankers, according to Abdollahi, who characterized these actions as 'maritime piracy'.
