The Iran war has expanded to the Red Sea and Caspian Sea, despite a pause in US strikes. The Houthi rebels attacked Saudi oil installations along the Red Sea coast on Saturday.

No reports of US attacks were reported on Saturday, but the US military confirmed that its naval blockade against Iran remains in effect. A senior Trump administration official stated that President Donald Trump's preference is for diplomacy, but he has shown Iran what will happen if they fail to negotiate seriously.

The Houthi rebels struck sites belonging to Saudi state oil company Aramco in Jizan and Yanbu. Two ballistic missiles aimed at oil installations were intercepted by a US-made Patriot battery operated in Saudi Arabia by the Greek military.
