Iran Warns Allies: Supporting US Economic War is an Act of Aggression
Major General Mohsen Rezaei, Iran's newly appointed Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council (SNSC), has issued a stern warning to the United States' allies regarding their participation in or support for America's economic war against the Iranian people.
In a statement on X, Rezaei declared that any country participating in this economic war will be viewed as committing an 'act of war.'
He specifically linked global energy security to the cessation of American financial hostilities, stating that if the economic war continues, Iran will not export a single drop of oil through the Strait of Hormuz or from anywhere in the Persian Gulf.
This ultimatum comes against the backdrop of an intensifying US economic warfare campaign, which has employed sweeping secondary sanctions to target Iran's central bank, financial institutions, and its oil and petrochemical sectors.
