Iran Warns US of 'Decisive War' as Tensions Soar in Middle East
Ravindra Wakode, father of IIT-Bombay student Sahil Wakode who died by suicide on campus, is seeking justice for his son's death. He has accused those responsible of pushing his son to the extreme step through alleged torture and caste discrimination.
The case has been transferred to the Mumbai Police Crime Branch for further investigation after Powai police registered an abetment of suicide case and invoked provisions of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Prevention of Atrocities Act. A senior IIT-Bombay professor, Suryanarayana Doolla, has been named in the FIR.
Tensions are high in the Middle East as Iran issues a strong warning to the United States after being informed that the US and its regional allies were preparing to resume actions against Tehran. Iranian Parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf emphasized the need to both fight and negotiate, stating their diplomatic positions are 'completely clear, rational, and non-negotiable'.
