The Iranian Oil Company has stated that it will not allow its oil exports to be disrupted by US sanctions. In an interview, CEO Hamid Pourda emphasized that his country has a plan and solution for every measure taken by the enemy in the oil sector.

Pourda responded to threats from US Treasury Secretary Scott Bisnett to impose new and harsh sanctions on Iran. He stated that while sanctions impose costs and problems on Iran, it has managed over the past years to find solutions to various forms of US sanctions.

The Iranian Oil Company's CEO stressed that oil production and exports are continuing normally, despite talk of the possibility of crippling the Iranian oil sector through additional sanctions.
