Iranian Regime Oil Exports Fall to Zero Amid US Blockade
Washington's economic pressure on Tehran has entered a new phase as the US maritime blockade of Iranian ports and export routes intensifies. The campaign aims to cut off the regime's revenue lifelines and limit its financial resources.
In September, no crude oil was loaded from Iranian ports, according to Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent. Preliminary data from tanker-tracking companies Kpler and Vortexa confirms this, with an estimated 220,000-255,000 barrels per day in August falling to zero.
The US Treasury Department's 'Economic Expulsion Operation' targets the regime's oil-sales networks, financial transactions, sanctions-evasion routes, and other sources of revenue. The operation has expanded to industrial and financial sectors, transportation, and financing networks.
