Iranian Revolutionary Guard Targets Oil Tanker in Strait of Hormuz Incident

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard has announced that it targeted an oil tanker flying the Togolese flag in the Strait of Hormuz.

The tanker, identified as 'Trend', attempted to cross the strait despite being warned not to do so by the American military, according to a statement from Admiral Ali Azmaei, commander of the naval forces of the Revolutionary Guard.

The statement added that after a fire broke out on board, the Revolutionary Guard's forces targeted the tanker and forced it to stop.
