Iran's Economy on Brink of Collapse in Two Weeks: Bessent
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has warned that Iran's economy will soon have 'nothing to trade' in about two weeks after it makes its final oil deliveries. The Islamic Republic is becoming desperate to make a deal due to its collapsing economy, hastened by Operation Economic Outcast.
Bessent stated that with only 15 million more barrels of Iranian oil on the water, Iran will have nothing left to trade for anything. He added that 'probably within the next two weeks, they are going to make their final deliveries of oil to China, and then they will have nothing.'
The US has implemented a sweeping blockade around the regime since the Memorandum of Understanding with Iran collapsed in July, cutting off vessels from entering or leaving the war-torn nation.
