Iran's Oil Exports to China Plunge Amid Sanctions Pressure
The Iranian regime is facing an unprecedented crisis as its oil exports to China are severely restricted. According to US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Iran could deliver its last remaining oil shipments to China within two weeks, after which Tehran may have little left to trade.
About 15 million barrels of Iranian oil remain in transit. The regime's oil trade is under immense pressure as broader Middle Eastern oil exports recover from wartime disruptions.
New Iranian oil shipments have slowed sharply, with crude exports from major Middle Eastern producers reaching approximately 12.8 million barrels per day in September, the highest level since the beginning of the war.
