Iran's Oil Minister Resigns Amid US Sanctions Talks
Iranian Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad has resigned from his position for personal reasons. According to reports, he will be replaced by Hamid Bovard, the chief executive of the National Iranian Oil Company.
The resignation comes as Iran is seeking to have US sanctions lifted on its oil sales amid talks to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
