Iraq Denies Role in Saudi Oil Facility Strikes Amid Regional Tensions
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq has denied involvement in drone attacks on oil facilities in Saudi Arabia. The denial comes after Riyadh accused 'Iranian-backed militias' of carrying out the strikes on Monday.
In a statement, the network of Iran-aligned groups described the allegations as 'fabrications' and an attempt to justify their inability to respond to recent Yemeni strikes that targeted Saudi infrastructure.
The group warned that any 'foolish action' by the kingdom would be met with a 'harsh response.'
