Iraq Investigates Drone Attack on Saudi Oil Pipeline
The Iraqi government has confirmed that a drone attack on Saudi Arabia's East-West Crude Oil Pipeline originated from its territory.
The incident occurred on September 11, with Iraq swiftly launching an investigation and firing a military commander in the Maysan province, which borders Iran.
The attack comes as Iraq seeks to disarm Iranian-backed militias, some of which are suspected of conducting the strikes on the Saudi pipeline.
