Iraqi authorities have seized a drone-launching platform used in an attack on a Saudi oil pipeline, according to Saad Maan, chief of the Security Media Cell.

The platform was located inside Iraqi territory and was being used to launch drones that struck the East-West oil pipeline in the Riyadh and Medina regions, causing injuries and material damage.

Saudi Arabia reported the drone attacks on September 11, but decided not to respond at this stage after a request from the Iraqi prime minister to allow his government to take preventative measures.
