Iraqi Gold Prices Dip in Baghdad and Erbil Markets

On September 12th, gold prices fluctuated in Baghdad and Erbil markets. According to a Shafaq News market survey, the selling price of 21-carat gold on Baghdad's Al-Nahr Street was around 960,000 IQD per mithqal (equivalent to five grams). The buying price for the same gold was slightly lower at 956,000 IQD.

The prices were also recorded in different categories. For instance, the selling price for 21-carat Iraqi gold stood at 930,000 IQD, while its buying price was 926,000 IQD. Similarly, jewelry stores in Baghdad offered a range of prices per mithqal of 21-carat Gulf gold between 960,000 and 970,000 IQD.

In Erbil, the market saw different prices for various carats of gold. For example, 22-carat gold was sold at 1 million IQD per mithqal, while 21-carat gold was available at 955,000 IQD. Additionally, 18-carat gold was priced at 818,000 IQD.
