Iraqi Gold Prices Dip in Baghdad and Erbil Markets

Gold prices have declined in Baghdad and Erbil markets, according to a recent market survey by Shafaq News. In Baghdad's Al-Nahr Street, 21-carat gold was selling at 1,008,000 IQD per mithqal (five grams), including Gulf, Turkish, and European varieties, with a buying price of 1,004,000 IQD. This represents a decrease from the previous day's selling price of 1,012,000 IQD.

The selling prices for 21-carat Iraqi gold stood at 978,000 IQD, with a buying price of 974,000 IQD. In jewelry stores, 21-carat Gulf gold was sold between 1,010,000 and 1,020,000 IQD per mithqal, while Iraqi gold ranged from 980,000 to 990,000 IQD.

In Erbil, the prices were slightly higher: 22-carat gold was sold at 1,041,000 IQD per mithqal, 21-carat gold at 993,000 IQD, and 18-carat gold at 852,000 IQD. These figures may be of interest to investors and traders in the region.
