Iraqi Gold Prices Reach Record High at Over 1 Million IQD

Gold prices in Baghdad and Erbil have reached a new milestone, hovering around one million Iraqi dinars (IQD) per mithqal. According to a recent market survey by Shafaq News, the selling price of 21-carat gold on Al-Nahr Street in Baghdad is 1,006,000 IQD, while the buying price is 1,002,000 IQD.

The same gold sold for 980,000 IQD on Thursday. The selling price for 21-carat Iraqi gold stood at 976,000 IQD, with a buying price of 972,000 IQD.

In jewelry stores, the selling price per mithqal of 21-carat Gulf gold ranged between 1,005,000 and 1,015,000 IQD, while Iraqi gold sold for between 975,000 and 985,000 IQD.
