Iraqi Gold Prices Surge to 930,000 IQD per Mithqal in Baghdad and Erbil

Gold prices have risen in Baghdad and Erbil markets, according to a survey by Shafaq News Agency. The current price of gold is around 930,000 IQD per mithqal in both cities.

In Baghdad's Al-Nahr Street market, the selling price for 21-carat gold was recorded at 937,000 IQD per mithqal, with a buying price of 933,000 IQD. This is an increase from Thursday's price of 920,000 IQD.

The prices varied slightly in jewelry stores, where 21-carat Gulf gold ranged from 940,000 to 950,000 IQD per mithqal, and Iraqi gold sold for between 910,000 and 920,000 IQD.

In Erbil, the price of gold was higher, with 22-carat gold selling at 973,000 IQD per mithqal, 21-carat gold at 930,000 IQD, and 18-carat gold at 797,000 IQD.
