Iraqi Oil Ministry Heads to Gastech 2026 in Bangkok

The Iraqi Oil Ministry will represent Iraq at the Gastech 2026 exhibition in Bangkok next month. Deputy Oil Minister for Gas Affairs Ezat Saber Esmaeel has been invited by US energy technology company Baker Hughes to attend the event.

Gastech is considered one of the largest exhibitions for natural gas and liquefied natural gas (LNG) globally, with over 50,000 industry participants expected to attend from more than 1,000 companies in 150 countries.

The ministry sees such events as opportunities to adopt the latest gas production technologies, reduce emissions, advance digital transformation in the energy sector, and keep pace with changes in the global gas market.
