Israel Suspected in Drone Attack on Saudi Oil Pipeline

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian questioned whether Israel was behind the drone attack on Saudi Arabia's East-West oil pipeline. The strike disrupted oil shipments through the pipeline, which provides an alternative export route that bypasses the Strait of Hormuz.

Pezeshkian stated that he directly asked Iranian military commanders if Tehran or forces acting on its behalf were responsible for the attack, and they denied any involvement.

He then suggested that Israel or actors linked to it might have carried out the strike in an attempt to widen the regional war.
