Italy's Soft Wheat Flour Exports Soar 15% in First Half of 2026

Italian soft wheat flour exports rose by nearly 15% in the first half of 2026, according to data from the Italian Association of Millers (ITALMOPA).

The increase was driven by a 38% surge in shipments to the United States, which has become the leading destination market for Italian soft wheat flour.

Italian exports of soft wheat flour reached 202,654 tonnes in the first six months of 2026, exceeding year-end projections and putting Italy on track to reach 400,000 tonnes by the end of 2026.
