High gold prices in 2025 have driven demand for jewelry appraisals in Hong Kong, prompting Jewel Cafe to open its third store in the city.

The Japanese-founded specialty buying brand has established a new location at OP Mall in Tsuen Wan, offering free appraisals with no obligation to sell.

According to the World Gold Council, gold prices set 53 all-time highs last year, with an annual average price of $3,431 per ounce, a 44% increase from the previous year.
