Following a record-breaking year for gold prices in 2025, Jewel Cafe has opened its third store in Hong Kong's Tsuen Wan OP Mall.

The new location offers free appraisals of gold, platinum, jewelry, luxury watches, and branded goods with no obligation to sell. The service is part of the Japanese-founded specialty buying brand's expansion into the city after a year marked by high gold prices.

According to the World Gold Council, the LBMA afternoon gold price set 53 new all-time highs during 2025. The annual average gold price reached a record USD 3,431 per ounce, up 44% from the previous year.

The company's Tsuen Wan store joins its existing locations in Mong Kok and North Point. At Jewel Cafe, customers are welcomed with Japanese-style hospitality and friendly staff explain each appraisal to help customers make informed decisions at their own pace.
