Saudi Aramco's oil facilities in Jizan were attacked on Monday, marking the second strike targeting the company's infrastructure in the region within a month.

The Financial Times reported that two people familiar with the matter stated the facilities sustained damage during the attack, which is currently being assessed. The scale of the latest incident was said to be similar to the previous attack, which temporarily disrupted some production at Saudi Aramco's Jizan refinery.

Saudi Aramco had not immediately responded to the publication's request for information. Details about the affected units, the extent of the damage and any potential disruption to oil production were not available at the time of reporting.
