'K' LINE Delivers New LNG Carrier for Petronas LNG

Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha Ltd., also known as 'K' LINE, has taken delivery of a new liquefied natural gas (LNG) carrier, Puteri Kelantan. The vessel was built for Petronas LNG Ltd. and is owned by a joint venture company led by 'K' LINE.

The delivery of the vessel strengthens PLL's fleet and supports the reliable delivery of LNG to its customers. The vessel is of the same type as two other vessels delivered for PLL in May and June 2026, respectively.

A naming ceremony was held in early September to name the vessel Puteri Kelantan, which was attended by representatives from PLL, the Shipyard, Bank of Communications Financial Leasing Co., Ltd., China Merchants Energy Shipping Co., Ltd. and 'K' LINE.
