Kazakhstan Crushes Grain Export Records in September
Kazakhstan's grain and flour exports have reached record levels in September, continuing an upward trend. Grain transportation rose by 7% year-on-year to 852,000 tons in the first 20 days of the month, while grain exports increased by 10% to 674,000 tons.
The growth is driven by increased shipments to key markets, with Uzbekistan receiving 319,000 tons of Kazakh grain, up 20% year-on-year. Shipments to Tajikistan rose 21% to 116,000 tons, while exports to China saw even stronger growth, reaching 101,000 tons, or 2.5 times the volume recorded during the same period last year.
Processed grain exports also continued to grow, with shipments of milled grain products increasing by 24% to 134,000 tons in the first 20 days of September.
