Kazakhstan Grain Exports Skyrocket with Shipments to Key Markets

Kazakhstan's grain exports are surging to new heights, driven by increased shipments to key markets. In the first 20 days of September 2026, grain transportation reached 852,000 tons, up 7% year-on-year.

The growth is attributed to a 10% rise in grain exports to 674,000 tons, with major destinations including Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and China. Notably, Kazakhstan's grain exports to China saw the strongest growth, reaching 101,000 tons - a staggering 2.5 times the volume recorded during the same period last year.

Processed grain exports also continued to grow, with shipments of milled grain products increasing by 24% to 134,000 tons in the first 20 days of September.
