Kazakhstan's Flour Exports Soar on Strong Demand from Afghanistan
Kazakhstan has seen a significant increase in wheat flour exports during 2025-2026, with Afghanistan playing a key role.
According to The Times of Central Asia, Kazakhstan exported around 1.87 million tons of wheat flour during the first 10 months of this year, marking an 18.3% rise compared to the same period last year.
The report estimates that the country's flour exports could reach approximately 2.12 million tons by the end of the year.
Afghanistan is Kazakhstan's largest flour market, accounting for nearly two-thirds of the country's total flour exports in 2024. That year, Afghanistan imported around 1.23 million tons of Kazakh flour.
