Kerala Gold Prices Bounce Back Amid Global Uncertainty
The price of gold in Kerala has seen another increase on Friday, rising by Rs 15 per gram and Rs 120 per sovereign. The current price of one gram of gold is Rs 14,010, while a sovereign weighing eight grams costs Rs 1,12,080.
This slight rise in prices comes after a steep decline yesterday, when the price of a sovereign fell by Rs 1,120. Despite the recent fluctuations, investors remain uncertain about the future direction of gold prices due to ongoing global instability.
The strong trend of investors withdrawing money from the stock market and buying gold as a safe haven has led to a surge in demand for gold. However, if international negotiations gain momentum, gold prices may decline.
In addition to global uncertainty, interest rate changes by the US Federal Reserve can also impact gold prices. When the dollar strengthens, it becomes more expensive for countries using other currencies to buy gold, potentially reducing demand and pushing prices down.
