Kerala Gold Prices Surge Amid Global Uncertainty
The gold prices in Kerala experienced another surge on Friday, increasing by Rs 15 per gram and Rs 120 per sovereign. The current price of one gram of gold stands at Rs 14,010, while a sovereign of eight grams costs Rs 1,12,080.
This slight increase comes after a steep decline in prices yesterday, when the value of a sovereign fell by Rs 1,120.
The rise in gold prices can be attributed to investors withdrawing money from the stock market and buying gold as a safe haven due to global uncertainty. This increased demand for gold leads to a sharp increase in prices.
However, gold prices may decline if international negotiations and diplomatic discussions gain momentum again. Additionally, changes in interest rates by the US central bank, the Federal Reserve, can directly impact gold prices.
