The National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) has confirmed that Iran's main oil export terminal on Khark Island remains fully operational. According to Hamid Bourd, CEO of NIOC, conditions on the island are calm and stable, despite repeated attacks and bombardments.

Oil industry personnel have ensured that operations at the terminal continue without interruption. Several contractors are currently carrying out rehabilitation and modernization work on oil storage tanks, as well as reconstruction projects on jetties and storage facilities.

The CEO emphasized that some projects are around 20 percent complete, while others have reached approximately 30 percent completion. The NIOC chief also highlighted the importance of oil storage management during the war, noting that Iran has significant strategic oil storage capacity located in various areas, including islands, mainland facilities, and locations outside the country.
